Description

This course teaches how to effectively manage medical and injury emergencies in the very first minutes, while professional help is on the way. The course emphasizes how to handle bleeding, burns, cuts, broken bones, diabetes, poisoning, seizures, as well as relief of choking for responsive and unresponsive victims. It may include environmental emergencies (hypothermia, bites, etc.). Other optional topics are adult and pediatric CPR and AED.

Skills demonstration is included in the course.
